Win a trip to the IFAJ Congress

The New South Wales Rural Press Club (formerly knowns as the Farm Writers' Association of NSW) supports an annual awards program that not only looks to promote excellence in rural journalism but offers some incredible prizes.

The awards program is open to all journalists who are current financial members of the New South Wales Rural Press Club. There are several awards supported and promoted by the Club, including the best photography, print and broadcast journalism in NSW. The prize for two awards is a trip to the annual congress of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ). 

We strongly encourage our members to submit a single entry in as many of the awards as they are eligible.

Applications generally open in December and close in February for content broadcast or published in the calendar year.
